How to install

Just want to play? Extract the zip, then press on the game.

Or follow these steps to set it up properly:

1. Download the zip file.
2. Right-click the zip file and press Extract All.
3. Open the extracted folder, right-click the game, then press Show more options.
4. Press Create shortcut.
5. Rename the shortcut to Shapepit.
6. Place the shortcut on your desktop.

Don't want it on your desktop? Just create the shortcut, then drag the shortcut into your taskbar.

Don't want to do that either? You can try clicking the game inside the zip file without extracting it and pressing Run.

This might not work, because Windows may not allow it. If it doesn't, you need to extract the zip file first (right-click it and press Extract All), then open the game from the extracted folder.

If Windows says "Windows protected your PC"

This is normal, and you can ignore it. Windows shows this screen for any new or small program that it hasn't seen downloaded very many times yet. It doesn't mean Windows found a virus or anything harmful. It only means Windows doesn't recognize the program yet, and a small new game like Shapepit hasn't built up that history.

To open the game anyway:

1. Press More info.
2. Press Run anyway.

Your browser might also say the file "isn't commonly downloaded" when you download the zip. If it does, press Keep.

Only do this for the file you got from this page.

When the game updates, your progress in your sandboxes stays the same. You just need to download the game again.
